From the M25 take the M20 down as far as Ashford Junction 10. Then Turn off onto A2070 heading South and drive across two roundabouts. There is then a slip road signposted A2070 Brenzett and Lydd Airport. Take this and go straight across the roundabout at the bottom staying on the A2070. Follow the road to Brenzett and go straight across the roundabout following the A259 for Rye. Go around Rye on the A259 heading for Hastings and Strand House is two miles beyond Rye, just before you get to Winchelsea.
Alternatively, from the M25 take the A21 Southbound past Tonbridge about 12 miles to Flimwell. Turn off here onto the A268 to Rye and then the A259 to Hastings and Strand House is two miles outside Rye, just before you get to Winchelsea.
Strand House is approximately 50 minutes from the Channel Ferry Port at Dover and the Channel Tunnel Rail Terminal at Folkestone. Take the M20 to Ashford Junction 10 and then the A2070 as described above.
From Eastboune head out of town towards Pevensey and take the A259 coast road to Hastings. Pass through Bexhill and Hastings, and follow the A259 towards Rye. You will pass the entrance to Winchelsea but stay on the A259 until you go around a hair-pin bend at Winchelsea station. Strand House is about 200 yards past the bend on the right hand side, just past the turning for Winchelsea and a house on the corner. Slow and indicate as you come over the hump beside the turn and our entrance is immediately on the right.
